Ryan Edmondson was on the scoresheet as Leeds Under-23s recorded a 2-1 win over Notts County on Friday night.
Edmondson’s late goal secured the victory for the Whites, which led to a host of the Championship club’s fans calling for the 17-year-old to be handed some first-team action.
The attacker has only made one Championship appearance this season, playing 19 minutes of the club’s 2-1 defeat against Birmingham City back in September.
Edmondson has not been involved since, but a number of Leeds fans want the teenager to be handed a first-team opportunity.
Kemar Roofe is the team’s leading scorer this season, but the attacker has recently been criticised by a number of the club’s supporters.
And Edmondson is one of a number of talented youngsters who will be hoping to feature between now and the end of the campaign.
