THE BIGGER PICTURE
Ferguson joined Brighton in 2021, netting 17 goals and adding six assists. A series of injuries stalled his progress, leading to a six-month loan at West Ham. While Roma had also shown interest in Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund, they ultimately focused on Ferguson, securing his approval to join.
